More than just a florist…
Paddington and Melbourne
A glance in the windows of The Chapter House in Melbourne’s Flinders Lane or in Sydney’s iconic William Street Paddington Store is enough to understand that Nicholas Minton-Connell is more than a florist. His window installations have become a destination for travellers to Melbourne and Paddington, who photograph the whimsical and often magical worlds within.
Nicholas Minton-Connell began creating displays for David Jones in the early nineties before moving to Hong Kong where he worked for five years with the team at Dior developing window installations and visual merchandise solutions across their Asia-Pacific store locations. Returning to Melbourne in the late nineties, Nicholas decided to focus his creative energy on floristry and events consultancy. From his florist studios in Paddington and Melbourne’s CBD, Nicholas’ floral creations have become celebrated for their originality and creativity for over a decade. He has themed and created event installations for all occasions from weddings, balls and banquets to fashion and product launches as well as corporate celebrations.
Calling into question accepted ideas about fashion, style and what is traditionally accepted as beautiful, Nicholas thrives on delivering a result that always surprises and delights his loyal clients.
Nicholas is available by appointment only however, feel free to drop into the studio at any time to discuss your requirements with our team. For hours of operation and appointments, see contacts page.
We look forward to realising your wildest dreams.
